A project which started with a YCC bang bang evening - now waiting to get funding to bring it to life.
My Culture My London disrupts the city using anti-loitering decides to encourage creativity amongst its young inhabitants.
With the recent cut backs in art education, London based youth initiative My Culture My London is fighting back. The initiative, which is part of A New Direction, who aim to connect the cities young people with the best of arts and culture, is starting to make a lot of noise with their most recent project #LOUDER.
Hacking high-frequency units originally designed to deter young people #LOUDER is using the once negative noise to transmit unique creative opportunities instead - right out the school gates. But here's the clever bit, such high frequency sounds can only be heard by young people – giving them exclusive access and leaving us on the other since of the fence.
Hidden within this high-frequency noise are a series of the coolest creative challenges bought to you by some of London's coolest influencers all of which can unlocked simply by using Shazam.
